For the record; I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with your products, the two cylinders you sent me worked real well, perhaps too good. The 3.5, I am filling everything but the last inch, so in the next few months or so I would have no more room to grow. The 2.25 is doing real well. At the beginning back in 1997 when I purchased my pump I was not so successful because I was only using the pump for 20 minutes. The biggest change was done when I went from 20 minutes to one hour. I have been trying out vacuum pumps for 2 years and found Dr. Joel Kaplan's to be simply the best!

I started off using those cheap "Fireman" pumps. The ones that have a vacuum release hole drilled into the cylinder and a bulb that just does not produce enough vacuum. About Dr Joel Kaplans cylinders (Countdown 4:59 - 4:00 minutes)
Dr Joel Kaplan utilizes 2 cylinders in his penis enlargement program.

The first cylinder pumps just the penis and is called the 1st expansion cylinder. This is the cylinder that is available in Package #1 and the smaller of the two in Package #2 and Package #3. The 1st expansion cylinder is the primary means of enlargement and increases the size of the penis in girth more than length.

The second cylinder pumps both the penis and scrotum simultaneously and is called the 2nd expansion cylinder. This cylinder can be found in Package #2 & #3. The 2nd expansion cylinder is secondary (optional) and increases the size of the penis in length more than girth.

Both 1st and 2nd expansion cylinders are utilized in Dr Joel Kaplan's penis enlargement program and using both will maximize the effects of pumping and speed up the enlargement process. Though the 2nd expansion cylinder is optional, it is recommended if you want results in the fasted time possible.

Importance of cylinder sizing (Countdown 3:59 - 2:00 minutes)
Proper cylinder size is important to allow you room to grow, for pumping comfort and achieving an airtight seal. Choose a cylinder too small and you won't have any room to grow. Choose a cylinder too big and "scrotum suck" will diminish comfort and it will be harder to achieve a seal. The perfect size for you balances room, comfort and sealing capability.

"Scrotum suck" is an unwanted effect when using a 1st expansion cylinder - it occurs when penis pumping with too much space inside the cylinder. What happens is the scrotum on the outside of the cylinder gets sucked on the inside of the cylinder to fill up the empty space. The testicles then begin to smash against the outside walls of the cylinder causing discomfort. There are ways to avoid scrotum suck and selecting a proper size cylinder is the best way.

There are two methods to sizing your cylinders:

Method #1 - Diameter Method

Sizing for the 1st expansion cylinder (penis cylinder)
The rule of thumb is, choose the cylinder approximately .25 inch (1/4 inch) larger than your penis' erect diameter. This is the optimal size to balance space, comfort and seal. Dr Joel Kaplan 1st expansion cylinders come in 1.75, 2.00, 2.25 & 2.50 inch diameters.

Sizing for the 2nd expansion cylinder (penis & scrotum cylinder)
The rule of thumb is, choose the cylinder that is 1.00 inch larger than the 1st expansion cylinder but if you are overweight, choose the cylinder 1.25 inches larger than the 1st expansion cylinder. Dr Joel Kaplan's 2nd expansion cylinder come in 2.75, 3.00, 3.25 & 3.50 inch diameters.

Method #2 - Circumference Method

Measuring the penis for cylinder sizing (Countdown 1:59 - 0:01 minutes)
The following measurements must be taken while ERECT.

There are two ways to measure the penis for cylinder sizing. The first is the diameter method; the second is the circumference method.

Diameter Measurement for sizing Method #1 (see above cylinder sizing guide)
This method is more or less a guess. To do this, simply take a ruler and place it across the penis to measure its width. Since your penis is round, the penis will not be touching the ruler from the points you wish to measure. Eyeballing your width (diameter) is the best way to determine using a ruler. If you would like an accurate diameter measurement, you must use a machinist's caliper. Once your diameter is known, select a cylinder that is approximately 1/4 inches larger than your erect diameter.

Circumference Measurement for sizing Method #2 (see above cylinder sizing guide)
This method is the easiest since it takes the guesswork out of sizing. There are two ways that I'd recommend.

 

Using fabric ruler
To measure using this flexible ruler around the largest part of your erect penis and note the measurement. This is your circumference.

Using string, pen & straightedge
To measure, wrap a string around the largest part of your erect penis and make pen marks on the string where it intersects one another. Straighten the string out against a straightedge ruler and measure the distance between the two points. This is your circumference.
